The WJEC and other examination boards have sent updates regarding the cancellation of this summer's examinations and how pupils will gain grades in a different way.
All updates have been shared via our twitter site for your information.
No staff will we be discussing / sharing any estimated grades with pupils or parents until we are directed by Qualification Wales as we don't know how these are going to be attributed. It is anticipated that there will be a national results day, at which point pupils will receive their grades.
I understand that this is a difficult time for our learners, whilst we are awaiting specific instructions from qualifications Wales.We will update you once we have any further information.

From Monday 23 March 2020, every learner in Wales will be able to access Hwb Services, which includes Microsoft Office. Schools no longer need to approve consent. Hwb login details have been issued to students previously.
As we begin to socially distance ourselves, technology will be lifeline for so many of us, but being safe is vital. Don't forget we have a vast range of documents on our website to support you online.

Following a number of requests from Year 11 pupils to wear non uniform to school, we have agreed that this is acceptable tomorrow.

Letter for students who were due to attend A Monter Calls trip.
Following the announcement by the first minister today, I write to inform you that we have taken the decision that the school will be closed completely to pupils on Friday to enable staff to prepare effectively for distance learning.
The school will remain open for examination classes in Y11/12&13 and for collection of any work on Thursday by these students.
My thoughts are with you at this very difficult time and thank you once again for working with us throughout this period.

We are currently awaiting advice from the tour company regarding the trip in July. A letter will be issued once clarification has been confirmed regarding the current travel restrictions.
