For the attention of Year 7. Please see the following letter from Mrs Weston.
We would like to invite all internal and external candidates to a 6th form transition day on Tuesday 1st September.
This will just be an opportunity to prepare you for the year ahead and share some important information with you. This will start at 9am and take place in the Old Hall. We are expecting to finish at approximately 1:30 with a lunch break etc included however it may run a little over or finish a little earlier depending on how much time students need. You will need to bring a pen and a packed lunch / snacks and water as we won't be able to provide any food on the school site in line with government guidelines. We are also hoping to issue you with your timetable this day too. It will also be a chance for you to discuss any amendments you may want to make to your subject choices etc.
We very much look forward to seeing you there. Thank you Miss McCallion and Miss Hopkins
Good morning,
Following the education minister's decision to revert back to centre assessed grades we will reissue via email learners' results once the examination board (WJEC) send us a new results file.
We have not been given details of when this will arrive but rest assured our examinations officer is constantly checking for this and will process it as soon as it comes in.
Finally, thank you to all parents and students who supported the demonstrations, petitions and wrote letters to the minister and politicians which will have helped greatly to reverse the ministers decision.
Mr Jarvis |
Good morning to all of our year 12 learners and parents
You should now have received your AS level results. It is clear from our initial review of these that the WJEC will have revised the centre assessed grades. Please rest assured that regardless of outcomes your place in the Sixth Form is secure and we will be on hand to support and guide you in this next stage. Please contact your HOL via email should you need guidance
Stay safe
Mr Jarvis
Good morning to learners and parents,
I am pleased to inform you that examination results should now be in your student gmail in box.
As announced by the education minister your A level results should be no lower than AS results if you are in year 13.
If you believe this is the case they will be automatically updated by the WJEC.
Phone calls will be made today by the Heads of Sixth Form to all year 13 students where any concerns regarding university places, exam results or future destinations can be discussed.
I wish all of our learners the very best for the future.
Stay safe
Mr Jarvis
