Please be advised that there have been a number of significant personal injuries caused recently due to a rise in the wearing of nail extensions to school.

Whilst within our uniform policy, nail varnish is not permitted to be worn to school, we do not currently have a ban on nail extensions.

However, we believe we should alert parents to the potential dangers associated with their children wearing nail extensions to school, where physical participation in sport and other activities does increase the risk of personal injury.
